Customised bobble hats

This Christmas I customised some bobble hats for my friend and sister. The Hats were bought from River Island and I added a rabbit fur pom-pom to the top of each. Both Hats got a special ‘hand finished’ tag.

Secret Santa

Pictures of the Secret Santa gift I put together for our Menswear Designer at work who loves to cook.

I have mentioned Jose’s a few times, both at work and also on ‘Hollybees’ as it is my favourite tapas restaurant and a great place to relax on  Sunday afternoon and enjoy a few dishes of traditional Spanish food. After buying his cook book on our first visit I have been able to have some of his delicious food at home. I put page markers on some of my favorite dishes that I have either eaten at Jose’s or have had at home. A great way to share your favourite dishes as part of the gift.

Custom Christmas Hampers

This Christmas I put together some custom hampers for my family and (if a little after Christmas!) I am pleased I can share the pictures now they have received them. The hampers were purchased empty and I filled each one with treats bought especially for each person. They all got a jar of my homemade Christmas Chutney and custom gift tag using brown luggage tags and ‘mt’ printed tape.

The perfect afternoon treat…

…a mini treacle tart brought home by my boyfriend from Maltby Street Market from Poppy’s Kitchen. Delicate and delicious!

I think next weekend I am going to have to go and check out her stall as this was by far the best tiny desert I have had in a very long time! Scrummy!

Christmas Chutney – year 2

Last week I met up with the same girls as last year to make our second round of chutney ready for Christmas gifts.  After the success of the caramelised onion chutney last year, we decided to give a ‘special Christmas chutney’ a go. Made with apples, pears dates and onions it was relatively easy to make, just the huge volume to contend with :) This weekend I decorated the jars to finish off, with printed mini luggage tags using my letter set…They look quite nice don’t you think?
