It’s been a while since I made my last blog post, lots has been going on since February with work and also setting up my own online shop on Etsy.
When setting ‘Hollybees’ up two years ago I wanted a place to share all the inspiring places that I go to and find, both out and about and also online. Visiting unusual and creative places at the weekends, inspired me to set up my own business The Collectors Yard, selling the vintage bits I had sourced at the weekends, down at Maltby Street Market, London. Each Saturday I would transform Lassco’s wood workshop into a place to enjoy food, styling Market Gourmets pop up restaurant area into a creative place to eat.
I have now gone on to create my own online shop on Etsy where you can buy the vintage treasures I pick up on my days out. The Collectors Yard has a selection of home wears ranging from the 1920’s through to the early 1990’s including Kitchen utensils, furniture and soft furnishings. I have also started to host a pop up shop in my garden on Saturdays, randomly picked through out the year. These dates are advertised on twitter (@collectorsyard) a week in advance.
I am going to continue my blog with the inspiring places I visit and post updated finds twice a month. I hope that you can continue to enjoy ‘Hollybees’ and please do have a look at TheCollectorsYard and let me know what you think.
