Brunswick House Cafe

Today I went to Brunswick House in Vauxhall for a look around and Sunday lunchtime Coffee and a bun.

Set below some of the glass modern office blocks, over looking the busy Vauxhall Round a bout, Brunswick House is barely noticeable. However, Crammed with retro and historic furniture and reclaimed fixtures and fitting, all haphazardly arranged in the old building, it definitely makes an interesting browse on a Sunday. And my favourite part…the Cafe/ restaurant, where the antiques spill through the doors as if it’s an additional storage area. Signs swinging from the ceiling, disused pillars and various rugs scatter the room. With upbeat music and a busy vibe it’s definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Vauxhall and I shall be returning with my friends shortly.

Inspired by Wes Anderson’s new film ‘Moonrise Kingdom’, set at a New England Summer camp in the 1960’s, we are expecting a new ‘outdoorsy’ trend to find it’ s way onto our fashion inspiration list.
